What you bring
A swimsuit. That is it. If you are coming straight from a walk through the Jewish Quarter and do not have one on you, you can buy one at reception. It is the only thing you need to bring from home.
What we provide
Clean towels. We hand them to you on arrival. No need to carry the hotel's.
Non-slip footwear. To move safely around the bathing area.
Locker with key. For your clothes, phone, wallet and everything you do not need for two hours.
Shower gel, shampoo and hairdryer. In the changing rooms. You can shower before and after at your leisure.
Tea. At the end, in the rest area. It is part of the hammam ritual.
What to leave at the hotel or at home
Jewellery and watches. You can store them in the locker, but it is easier not to bring them. Chlorine and steam are not kind to them.
Your phone in the bathing area. It stays in the locker. Not because of a rigid rule — out of common sense and respect for others. Two hours without screens is part of the experience.
Hurry. Leave it at the door. We are open from 10:00 to midnight with entries every 30 minutes. Your session lasts 2 hours and you set the pace.
Extra tips
Hydrate before you come. Temperature contrasts and steam cause fluid loss. The tea we serve helps, but arriving well hydrated makes a difference.
Eat lightly. Neither a full stomach nor an empty one. A light meal an hour before works well.
If you have long hair, a hair tie is a good idea for the steam room and pools.
